Mona Shores School Visit – 2016
Similar to their meetings the last eight years, Eric Wahlberg, a teacher at Mona Shores, arranged for the get together. Everyone gathered under the big tree in the grass, in the shade, right next to the “Stay Off The Grass” sign to meet each other and listen to Eric’s dad (myself) speak about Eric to the students before moving on to visit Eric’s grave site.

On June 13, 2015, on a hot, muggy afternoon in Washington DC, over 125 students and chaparones from Mona Shores Middle School in Michigan met at Arlington Cemetery. This was the eighth consecutive year that Eric Wahlberg and the Mona Shores staff conducted the visit.

On June 14, 2014, on a beautiful afternoon in Washington DC, over 100 students and chaparones from Mona Shores Middle School in Michigan met at Arlington Cemetery. This was the seventh consecutive year that Eric Wahlberg and the Mona Shores staff conducted the visit. It was a wonderful time of remembering Eric and all the Fallen Heroes at Arlington
Mona Shores School Visit – 2013
On June 15, 2013, 111 students and chaparones from Mona Shores Middle School in Michigan met at Arlington Cemetery. This was the sixth consecutive year that Eric Wahlberg and the Mona Shores staff conducted the visit. We also were privileged to have Eric’s grandfather attend as he was visiting from out of town.
