October 2017 update:

Mr. Herzberg-

I want to apologize for not doing a better job of keeping you in the loop! I’ve attached some recent pictures since I’ve been a college student at The Ohio State University for your use on the website. Obviously don’t have to use them all, just wanted to give you the option to pick from a couple depending on what you wanted to use!
I am a current senior at The Ohio State University, and have loved every second of being a student here. In my past four years, I have grown so much as a person, and that would not be the case if Eric’s scholarship was not available to me.  I am extremely involved on campus, and really take my commitments seriously. The organizations I am a part of have helped me get my internships and job opportunities, as well as given me all of my friends here at college. I have a chair position in my sorority (Chi Omega), I am in charge of inter-chapter relations in my professional business fraternity (Alpha Kappa Psi), and I am a tour guide here on campus for prospective high school students.

In the spring, I will graduate from OSU with a business degree with a Marketing specialization, and will be pursuing a career in advertising in New York City. I am so thankful to have been honored with such an amazing scholarship, and am truly blessed to carry on the spirit and passion of Eric through my day to day life.

Maddie – no apologies needed…it is great to hear from you and to see you are doing so well!  It sounds like you are doing great and college was everything it was supposed to be for you.  Way to go!  We are honored to be a very small part of your adventure.

Warm regards
Eric and Wendi Herzberg

August 2014 update:
Hi Mr. Herzberg – Sorry to respond so late! But here’s a little about me…

After high school, I am looking forward to attending college. There, I hope I can study something business related, but I’m not sure exactly what it will be just yet. I’m interested in maybe marketing, business administration, or communications currently, but I’m sure that is apt to change as I explore the many different fields of study. I know that whatever I end up doing after college will most definitely be involving interacting with people. Meeting new people and getting the opportunity to learn more about them is one of my favorite things in life, so I hope that with whatever career I go into, I will be able to continue doing this. My main goal for not only college but life itself is to make some sort of impact on the community. Whether that be changing one life or many, I can only wish that my presence will make a difference in someone’s happiness.
