Hi Mr. Herzberg:

I am so honored to be a recipient of the Eric Herzberg/Travis Manion Character Does Matter award. I will be enrolling at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland College Park as a Finance major in the fall.

Caroline – we look forward to hearing of your future endeavors.  Best of luck to you!

November 2017 Update:

Hi Mr. Herzberg,

So good to hear from you. I graduated from the University of Maryland in May with degrees in Finance and Accounting. I was active in my sorority, Sigma Kappa, a member of the women’s crew team and studied abroad in Madrid during my time at UMD.

I spent the summer traveling through Southeast Asia and moved to New York City in August. I’m currently working in equities research for North American and APAC hedge funds.  It’s hard work but I’m learning a lot and really enjoying it so far.

Hope all is well with you!

Best,
Caroline

Caroline – thank you for getting in touch.  Wow – you have led an active life so far and it’s clear you took advantage of the opportunities you were presented.  Maybe we will see you on CNBC one day soon – talking about the market!

Many blessings
Eric and Wendi Herzberg

November 2013 Update:
Hi Mr. Herzberg:

Happy Holidays! My first semester was great. I really enjoyed all my classes. I rowed on the women’s crew team and we had a really successful season. Next semester I am taking some more business classes as well as a class for my minor, Global Poverty Studies. I’ve attached some pictures as well. Let me know if you have any issues with their format.

Thanks, Caroline
