I’m not here to correct but the third picture is from School of Infantry, me and Eric were in Charlie company together and it was a miserable winter. I correct because if it wasn’t for him most of us wouldn’t of gotten through it. Unfortunately when on leave during S.O.I. I got a terrible illness and couldnt return to charlie. But no matter what Eric was always determined, calm and a leader. We were in the same platoon for bootcamp and he was the same way there as well. His jokes were quite bad but his fire and personalty will never be matched. I miss him more and more everyday and wear his name on my wrist. I just hope I make him proud and I try to live everyday to the fullest for the both of us. I can’t believe its been 5 years…… Miss you friend

Once again Memorial Day is here and once again we think of you even more. Words are so inadeguate. I am in awe of how your father works so hard to keep people from forgetting you and what you gave. Every day of his life is dedicated to helping other families who are going through what he has gone through. I so wish you could wrap your arms around him and thank him also. We do thank you, it is no wonder you were so courageous and honorable. You take after your dad. I hope that every day we are good people to earn the sacrifice that you gave. I have never met you and yet I love you dearly. You’re an extension to your wonderful dad and grandfather. May you rest in peace always

Man I still miss and think about you dude. So many great times together. I remember that night we had to push your car because it stopped working from jacobsville park all the way to my house. That was an epic night. Just remember you are NEVER forgotten. Love you

I attended grade 7 in Kitchener, ON with Eric. I sat close to him the entire year, but didn’t manage to start getting close with him until near the end of school year. Unfortunately, he and his family moved at the end of that school year.

I always admired him for his manners and tremendous athletic ability. He was amazing at soccer. He was good at a lot of things. He always gave 110%.
